Day 9 - 4h

Time: 4h

Progress:

Flush route second baffle and round over edges
Make hole-cutting router tool
Cut baffle openings
Apply coat of deluded white glue on both cabinets

Baffle ready for routing.
Center of the driver openings marked and a hole drilled for the tool pin(2mm nail cut to size)
Four 10mm holes drilled for the tweeter shape.
The routing tool has five positions for each opening:
1. Outer diameter of the inset
2. and 3. Trimming the rest of the inset
4. Cutting the opening to final diameter(but not through; the piece is 30mm thick)
5. Cutting the opening from behind (slightly smaller diameter.
Finally using the flush-trim bit from behind to finish the opening.
Tweeter shape is finalized routing free-hand.




Baffles ready. Woofer opening with round over edge. Finally, pieces are painted with white glue (50/50 water)
